Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at TADA Precision Scales. We are committed to delivering high-quality mechanical scales and ensuring your satisfaction. We understand that returns may be necessary, so we’ve established this policy. Please read carefully before purchasing.

1. Return Eligibility
Timeframe: You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

Condition Requirements: To qualify for a refund or exchange, items MUST:

Be in brand-new, unused condition with no signs of wear, damage, or use.

Include all original packaging (outer box, inner padding, manuals, warranty cards, etc.).

Include all accessories/parts (e.g., calibration weights, batteries, adapters).

Show no evidence of tampering, disassembly, modification, or repair attempts. (Critical: Mechanical scales contain precision components. Unauthorized disassembly voids return eligibility. Tamper-proof seals must be intact).

For functional defects: The issue must be verified by us as a manufacturing flaw, not caused by misuse.

2. Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns for (except where required by law):

Items received over 30 days ago.

Products damaged by customer (e.g., drops, water exposure, misuse, improper calibration).

Items missing original packaging, accessories, manuals, or with severely damaged packaging.

Used, installed, soiled, or items showing wear (e.g., scratches on weighing platforms, scuffs on feet).

Shipments returned due to incorrect/incomplete addresses provided by customer (restocking fees may apply).

Items marked “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” (clearance/promotional items).

3. Return Process
Initiate Request: Contact our Customer Service within the return window via:

Include: Order #, Product Name, Reason for Return, and Clear Photos (showing item condition/issues).

Ship Item Back:

Pack securely in original or sturdy packaging. We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance. You bear the risk of damage/loss during transit.

Ship to our provided address using a trackable service (USPS, UPS, FedEx). Untraceable packages lost in transit cannot be refunded.

Inspection: We inspect returns within 3-5 business days of receipt to verify compliance with our policy (packaging, condition, accessories, seals).

Refund Processing:

Upon approval, your refund will be processed promptly.

Refund Amount: The item’s original purchase price (excluding original shipping costs, unless the return is due to our error).

Refund Method: Funds are issued to your original payment method. Processing may take 5-10 business days after issuance.

Notification: You’ll receive an email confirmation upon refund issuance.

4. Exchanges                                                                                                                  Request an exchange (e.g., for a different color, or replacement of a defective item) when initiating your return.

Shipping Costs for Exchanges:

Our Error (defect/wrong item): We cover return shipping & reshipment costs.

Customer Choice (wrong model/color): Customer pays return shipping & new order shipping fees (unless you process a refund and reorder).

5. Shipping Costs
Return Shipping:

Customer-Initiated Returns: Customer pays return shipping and insurance. Original shipping is non-refundable.

Store-Error Returns: We reimburse reasonable return shipping costs (provide receipt). We cover reshipping costs for exchanges/redelivery.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable for customer-initiated returns.

Return Shipping Risk: You are responsible for the item until we receive it. Shipping insurance is your responsibility.
